Life detection should stay turned off or trigger only if car is locked

Life detection should stay off if I turn it off even next time when I enter the car. Or it should only turn on when I lock the car. It has happened multiple times that I was showing the car to someone and the alarm went off. Or when I was putting something in the trunk.
