Ability to reprogram the "lock doors" knob on steering wheel to control other function (B10)

In my humble opinion, the "lock doors" knob on the steering wheel isn't one I need on a daily basis, because the car automatically locks the doors when surpassing a speed of 15 km/h. However, I can imagine this would be a different case for more dangerous environments, but not so much where I lve. I would love to be able to reprogram the knob to control something else (like the other programmable knob).
