Urgent Safety Concern: Extremely Dangerous Driving on Snowy Roads Due to Regenerative Braking
Hi everyone, I want to raise a serious safety issue I’ve encountered while driving in snowy and icy conditions. The vehicle’s regenerative braking makes the car dangerously unstable on slippery surfaces. Even with careful driving, the regenerative deceleration causes sudden traction loss, which can easily lead to skidding or a complete loss of control. For winter conditions, it is absolutely essential to have a Winter Mode that fully disables regenerative braking. Without this option, the vehicle becomes extremely difficult—if not outright unsafe—to operate in real winter weather. Please treat this as a high‑priority safety concern. Until regen can be turned off, the car is effectively unusable in harsh winter conditions and poses a serious risk to the driver and others on the road. Has anyone else experienced this?
