Freezing weather - sensors, ACC and lane assistent not working!?

When outside temperature is below zero the sensors could freeze and ACC and Lane assistent not working. System shows display errors... If this is 'normal' there should be a short explenation how to solve. This raises doubts about whether it's safe to drive. When the sun shines after a while, the sensors and ACC will automatically resume working. Instructions on how to fix this would be helpful. Antifreeze?
