[B10] Optimizing the user authorization process and NFC reader efficiency
In the B10 model, there is a critical problem with the responsiveness of the NFC card reader during the vehicle startup procedure. The system repeatedly fails to recognize the authorized card, forcing multiple attempts and significantly delaying the start of the drive. Given that smooth startup is a key operational function, the current state is unacceptable. If the error results from hardware limitations, a service action is necessary to replace the reader module with a unit of higher sensitivity and stable operation. Concurrently with improving the physical reader's operation, it is essential to introduce alternative authorization methods through a software update. The current system, based on an unreliable card or a publicly visible PIN, lowers safety and comfort standards. I request the introduction of a "Smart Start" function based on the presence of a paired phone (Bluetooth/UWB). Since the vehicle correctly identifies the owner and unlocks the doors upon approach, the "Ready to Drive" function should activate automatically after the brake pedal is pressed, without the need to present the NFC card every time. Such a solution should be standard.
