Cruise Control in tow mode

I had just finished a long trip in my Leapmotor C10 and had mounted my bike rack. The good thing is that tow mode was activated automatically. However, I don't understand why I can't use cruise control when I have a bike rack mounted. I usually only mount the bike rack when I'm driving long distances, and that's exactly when I need cruise control.
