Boot button should unlock if phone in range

Very often the car opens when I walk to front but locks again as I walk to back of car to open boot. Very frustrating. Boot button doesn't work unless car unlocked. Would like: The boot (trunk) open button to work like the button on drivers door handle, and auto unlock if phone app is in range. The 'kick' feature other cars have. Using the rear parking sensors to detect a boot open request with a foot kick motion. This should unlock and automatically open the boot if app in range. This allows hands free use of boot when carrying shopping.
