C10 Reev Increased combustion engine speed when towing a 1,5t. caravan
Hello Leapmotor, Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to drive long distances with the C10 REEV while towing a 1.5-tonne caravan. I would therefore like to request a software update to adjust the internal combustion engine's RPM so that the battery level can be maintained at 80% when towing a 1.5-tonne load. At present, when driving at 90–95 km/h with a 1.5-tonne caravan, the engine runs at very low RPM (just as it would without a trailer). As a result, the battery loses approximately 80% of its charge within 100 km. While the engine RPM does increase if the vehicle and trailer combination exceeds 100 km/h, this increase should ideally occur at speeds as low as 80 km/h when towing. The goal should be to maintain the battery at a specific level even when towing a caravan. Please include a software setting that allows the user to specify whether a heavy trailer (requiring higher engine RPM) or merely a bicycle carrier (standard RPM) is attached.
