ACC too far from the vehicle in front on the route

ACC problem. Despite setting the minimum distance to the vehicle in front, the car maintains too much distance. As a result, when a car overtakes us on the highway and cuts in between me and the car in front, my car suddenly brakes sharply. This is unacceptable and requires urgent repair. When I drive about 140km/h it's really dangerous.
